ClinicPay
Private clinics · pharmacies · Zimbabwe

Half your admissions are paid by someone in the UK.
Let them pay tonight.

ClinicPay gives reception one QR and one WhatsApp link that takes a Visa in London, EcoCash in Harare, or three instalments — and lands in your account, fiscalised on your ZIMRA device. Fewer discharges against advice, faster cash, no more "I'll pay next week".

How it works

Reception makes the request. The payer pays where they are.

Sold to the provider, who already has the patient and the invoice. The payer never installs anything.

01

Create a request

Deposit, medical-aid shortfall, prescription or invoice — amount, a reference, the payer's WhatsApp number. Presets make it a two-tap job.

02

Show the QR, send the link

The desk shows a QR; the app opens WhatsApp with the message and link pre-filled. The relative abroad gets it in seconds.

03

They pay their way

Visa or Mastercard in GBP, ZAR or USD, EcoCash or InnBucks locally, in full or in three instalments with reminders.

04

Settled and fiscalised

Pesepay settles to your account. The payment is a fiscal receipt on your ZIMRA device the same second. The desk sees "Paid" live.

Why now

90% of patients are uninsured, and the one paying is not in the room.

Out-of-pocket is the norm

Private hospitals ask for up to $600 a night upfront; medical-aid reforms are shrinking cover further. The deposit conversation happens at reception, every day.

The payer is in Manchester

Healthcare is a top use of remittances, but the relative abroad cannot use EcoCash and will not send cash with a cousin. A card link fixes that tonight.

Your POS can't do this

It can't take a card from London, split a bill into three, or chase the balance on WhatsApp. ClinicPay can — with no integration and no new hardware.

Pricing

You only earn when you do. So do we.

The payer carries the card fee. A paid invoice at 4.5% beats an unpaid one at 0%.

Data

Minimised by design.

A request carries an amount, a short description, an opaque reference and the payer's contact — never a diagnosis. See the privacy notice and terms.
